Meet our December Monthly Muse: Salomée “Chroma” Souag, a Swiss-born artist and graphic designer who left her mark on the streets of Portland in response to the ongoing Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement. A mark that catapulted her into a world of art activism and youth mentorship within Black, Indigenous and People-of-Color (BIPOC) communities. When we spoke to Salomée, it was the day after the U.S. presidential election and a few months since she’d been let go from her agency gig. Unphased and driven by the purest passions, her pivot from corporate life to full-time activist is one to be applauded. Read on to learn more about Salomée in her own words.
